Greetings from behind the mask behind the mask behind. I am a freelance writer/editor, musician and visual artist. Poetry, musical composition and abstract art are my passions; also, my three children. I also have two dogs, two cats, and one brain cell. I was a complete breach birth and have been ass-backwards since. I'm having a bad hair life. If you would like to be added to my email list for music, etc. events, please let me know. My website will be completed soon, and perhaps you can use my services. If you can't use my services, perhaps you can use my hair. Many thanks to Travis for this awesome site!

Excited, yes. Ready? never. This first one will not have elec piano as there is no electricity available nearby, or so I'm told. We may practice again before Fri. Still want to do a podcast regarding the other three? I mean a sample. Up to you.I still would like to form a poetry online critique site, but also I am going to try and form a slamdunk poetry immersion group, like of about 4-5 poets. It is the former that I'd advertise. There is a meetup writers' meeting tomorrow night, I believe..... What? I just noticed that one can put music on this site. How is that done, pray tell? Anyway, keep up the good work and, for the life of me, I cannot remember your last name. Want to share? .....ok, back to the PW newsletter for me. Thanks, T.

Hey, Julianza: That sounds great. Thanks so much for letting other people know about the site. Are you and Karen excited/ready for this Friday? I'm looking forward to seeing your performance.

Thank you, Travis. If you go to Colorado Springs Meetup.com you will see some events -- there is a public speaking event (not strictly literary, but has to do with words, and could help stagefright) -- and then tomorrow a writers' write group, and so forth. This list of events is long-- they're not all about writing, but I'm going to cull through there to see if there's anything to help us poets. Podcast? I don'tknow how this is done. I am available today but stranded with fence repair issues today. Karen could prob come here-- or do we need to come to you? I am also working on the newsletter again today. Did you want me to write up a few sentences about this site, or would you like to? Thanks again. J.

Hey, Julianza: Yes, please post your music salons on the site. I think it'd be great to know when they're coming up. Also, thanks so much for thinking of the site for the newsletter. Feel free to say what you think of it and why others might want to consider signing up. Let folks know it's an attempt to connect as much of the local literary scene as possible in one place. Hopefully, that'll mean the site will be useful for finding out about local literary events or interesting creative projects folks are working on. Maybe the site will lead to collaborations, or helpful community projects, or a literary journal.

Hello, childacita. Welcome to Travis' site. Back in a bit. Cruise around; post your profile and all that. Amadea cannot go on this site: there are slam poems and the videos are not ok for the very young. (Slam is for ages 17 and up). Travis has done a good job here. Through this site I'm starting an online poetry critique group. Hello! I'd like my website, though I can create a link. Tell me, what have I liked as a website name? Later. Write some poetry this summer. Encourage A to keep at her own poetry.

Hello Travis: Thank you and I don't want to overburden you. H is the computer guru over here and if I just get that link creation down then it's set. That's all that's needed and I think you said, just pick a link title....? Remember that I am trying to read angry journalist and can't get it to open. Also, the video on left that says Travis is actually Janice. I'm sure you know, but just wanted to point it out. Other thing is, I can't google cslitlife in any form (this way or extended), so to check out this site I have to scroll up to earlier emails (or a current one). I don't know why. julianza PS I want you to know how helpful the videos are. I can see the overdramatization in this one. Poem two was a different tone and not as overly dramatic. It lets me know to let the words speak. It's a really useful tool for which I'm thankful, Travis. I'm certain we all are.

Hey, Julianza: I just got your video from the slam up. Have a look. I'd be glad to help you get your poetry critique site figured out. I'll try to set something up as soon as I have a chance.

Hi Travis. Great seeing you. I did go ahead and create a group and then I didn't have a web address and didn't know I could create my own link. Anyway, Ithink I clicked on "moderator," so see what that entails, and when I went back, my sheet was blank. I have to do it again. Yes, if you can help make it happen that would be great. I'm not sure how to get the word out; not everyone will click here. Fabulous working with you; many thanks.

Hey, Julianza: We spoke briefly about this tonight, but you might try creating your own Ning group that's hooked in with this site. In fact, I could probably set it up for you on here and then just give you the administrator's access to everything and you would control it. Anyway, maybe we can talk more about it. I think having an online poetry critique group would be really cool. I'm working on getting some video of tonight's reading up. I'll let you know...
